Lane 127 is in the Warrawong Town Centre and will become a key linking thoroughfare for pedestrians between Cowper Street and the new Southern Suburbs Community Centre and Library. It will also continue to provide rear lane access to businesses along Cowper and King Streets.

We propose changing the lane to a shared zone where the space is shared safely by vehicles and pedestrians and where pedestrian priority and safety take priority over ease of vehicle movement. Vehicle speeds would be limited to 10km per hour.

The lane will have festoon lighting suspended from steel posts, located on the eastern side of the lane. This will improve safety as well as making the laneway more inviting with a pleasant atmosphere. Paving and planter boxes will add character and removable bollards will allow for closure to vehicles for festivals and other events.

Lane 128 will also be upgraded with new kerb and guttering, driveways and resurfacing the pavement.
