Consultation has concluded

We're making plans for upgrades to the Trinity Row shared path, pathways to playground and replacing the old picnic shelter at Bulli Beach Reserve.

What's being planned?

Trinity Row Shared Path Plan

Check out the plan

Council has received many requests from the community for wider shared paths to reduce interactions between pedestrians and cyclists. In response to these requests, we have designed a 4-metre wide path along Trinity Row. The Trinity Row path is very popular and experiences significant crowding. We believe the wider path will improve safety for the many users of the path.

The wider shared path will be constructed from Farrell Road to Park Road.

New Picnic Shelter Plan

Check out the plan

The existing picnic shelter will be replaced with a new accessible picnic shelter. Included in this plan is the construction of an accessible path from the car park to the shelter and cafe. We wanted to share details of the new picnic shelter design with the community, prior to works starting in mid 2023.

Heritage considerations

In 2019, Council provided the community with an overview of projects planned for the Waniora Point area, including the shared pathway. You can view The Waniora Point Overview Project to see how Council addressed heritage planning and Aboriginal heritage issues.
