Consultation has concluded

Wollongong City Council's 2024 Wellbeing Survey is now open until Sunday 3 March.

Every couple of years we check in with our residents to see how they’re feeling about living in Wollongong and their sense of wellbeing.

The results of this survey help us understand what our residents think already works, what’s important to them, and where we can work with other organisations and government to achieve the future we want for Wollongong.

Who can take the survey

The Wellbeing Survey is open to people who are:

  • 18 years or older
  • Living in the Wollongong City Council area, and have lived here for at least six months.

How to take the survey

There are two ways people can take part.

Phone surveys

Taverner Research (on behalf of Council) will be calling randomly selected residents to do the survey by phone.

Please note:

  • Phone surveys will only be done from 2.30pm - 8.30pm on weekdays and 10am – 4pm on Saturdays
  • The caller id will come from 02 4209 3048. If you're unsure whether the call is legitimate, you can ask for a phone number to call back.
  • Taverner staff may ask for some general personal information such as your age, gender and suburb. They will not collect information that will personally identify you. These questions are asked to make sure we're covering a range of people across our city.
  • Interviewers will not ask for any financial, banking or credit card details.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Council.

Accessibility and language assistance

If you’re d/Deaf, hard of hearing or have a speech or language difficulty, you can contact us through the National Relay Service. If you need an interpreter, you can contact us through the Translating and Interpreting Service on 131 450. You’ll need to provide our phone number 02 4227 7111 for either service.
