Be part of creating a shared vision for your community

Help shape the future of Mount Kembla and Kembla Heights communities by helping to develop a community-led vision and plan. Share what you value about the area and your aspirations for its future. We want to create a balanced plan that considers environmental, cultural, recreational, and commercial aspects. The Kembla Vision Plan aims to gather diverse perspectives and determine actions based on community values. Your input during this stage will help shape a vision statement and values to inform an action plan.

Community Feedback

Feedback has now closed.

We recently asked the communities of Mount Kembla and Kembla Heights what they love about the area and what they could imagine there 10 years from now. A high-level summary of the feedback we received can be read in the Phase 2 Engagement Summary.

Further engagement with specific stakeholders and targeted community groups has now been undertaken and a summary of what was said can be read here. All feedback received is now being reviewed and will be used to inform the draft Kembla Vision Plan. The draft plan will be workshopped with the Kembla place-based communities, which is anticipated to happen in early 2024.
