Botanic Garden (including Gleniffer Brae) draft plans

Council resolved on 10 October 2016 to exhibit for public comment the following draft plans:

• Draft Plan of Management for the Wollongong Botanic Garden (including Gleniffer Brae and Kooloobong Oval), Keiraville with 2016 proposed amendments and Plan of Management area map
• The Gleniffer Brae, Keiraville Conservation Management Plan 2016
• Draft Planning Proposal to add 'Function Centre' as a permissable use in the RE1 Public Recreation zone for Gleniffer Brae (Lot 3 DP 252694).

The aim of the draft plans are to ensure they remain up to date and reflect the current and future aspirations of the community. This includes ensuring the management and direction of the Wollongong Botanic Garden and Gleniffer Brae as key community assets.
